Legal Studies Unit 3/4 Exam Preparation Program
The program will occur on Sunday the 18th of October 2026 via Webinar commencing at 9.00am and will be presented by Dr Megan Blake an experienced teacher, examination assessor and practising lawyer. Megan will assist students to prepare for the examination and write responses in a way that enables them to perform at their peak and impress the examination assessors. The program will include advice on areas to focus, clarification of common errors made by past students, tips on how to allocate precious time, strategies to assist students to interpret questions, an analysis of the most difficult questions and terms from past exams and an analysis of possible questions in light of recent legal developments. Comprehensive notes will be provided and there will be a bonus 30 minute question & answer/tutorial session at the conclusion of the program. The program is reasonably priced at only $50 per person and students should book early as seating is limited.20
The Presenter
Dr Megan Blake (LLB, BA (Melb), Dip Ed, Postgrad Dip Arts (Research), PhD (Monash)) has been actively involved in Legal Studies education for approximately 20 years, as both a teacher and presenter. She had positions of responsibility with the VCAA, including as a member of the panel designing the Legal Studies ‘study design,’ and she has had many years of experience as a VCE Legal Studies examination assessor. Megan is also a regular presenter of student lectures and workshops and is a prolific writer of assessment materials, for both CPAP and other organisations. She is also the author of the CPAP Study Guide to VCE Legal Studies, the CPAP Legal Studies Quarterly Updates as well as web-based materials published by Jacaranda. In addition to her role as a legal studies educator, Megan is currently employed as a practising barrister in state and federal jurisdictions.
